This page is really a go to resource for you to access helpful information, legislation and administrative materials
Colour Coding
Colour coding is used to prevent cross contamination. Use of one colour for food safe areas, and a different colour for all products used that are not food safe. Colours can be used to distinguish mops, buckets, dustpan and brushes, cleaning cloths and spray bottles containing cleaning products, for use in for different areas. Our staff training, that is part of our service, to existing and ongoing customers includes ensuring staff understand the system you are using, or want to implement, and that they understand the rationale for and importance of adhering to these systems.
The Food standards Agency offers comprehensive advice and a range of resources for your business. We have pulled together some of the most relevant for your convenience
